30th April 2024 was my last working day at IndiaMART where I worked for 8 years.

I am now on my own, trying to build a sustainable business that helps me live the life I am blessed to have.

I will use my skills to help people land their dream job.

I will help people be #NeverJobless.

What triggered this? Unhappy at your job?

No, I was not frustrated with my job.

I liked the salary, the recognition, and my work.

I was not elated every day but that is not the reason to quit.

In fact working in a bootstrapped profitable business, working closely with the founder, and being part of the decision-making process for the past 8 years - is the reason I feel confident that I can pull off a smaller version of it.

When IndiaMART went for an IPO in 2018, I was a big beneficiary of the event.

It cemented the fact that hockey stick growth is possible only in businesses.

You will never have a hockey stick growth in salaries - no matter what company you work for.

The uptick comes after a long period of slow or no growth but I have prepared myself mentally and financially to endure that.

The conviction about owning equity in a tech business is at the root of this decision.

Are you prepared for what is to come? Emotionally? Financially?

Me and Ayush (my husband) have been working on multiple side projects for about 9 years now.
